History

Founded in 2007, the University has started accepting students in the Department of History 2010; Graduate program was opened in 2017.

Admission Requirements

Undergraduate Diploma -At least 55 grades must be taken in Academic Personal and Graduate Study Entrance Exam set by OSYM.

Higher Grade Transition

May apply to master’s or doctorate programmes.

Graduation Requirements

-Students who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum (240 ECTS) and have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 60 out of 100.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

The graduates can work as academician in the fields of History and other Social Sciences in (state and private) universities and as expert at Public Record Office. They can participate in various projects about their fields. Also, the graduates who get initial teacher training can work as teacher at Ministry of National Education and in private institutes (private schools).

Assessment and Grading

The students are subject to mid-term, mid-work (projects, seminars, quizzes, homework or a second mid-term) and the final exam. Bingol University Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations item 31 and 32 are applied in the measurement and evaluation process.
